Common use of Assignment of Rights and Interest under this Agreement Clause in Contracts

Assignment of Rights and Interest under this Agreement. Except as otherwise contemplated hereunder, the Participating County may not sublicense, assign, or otherwise confer upon any other person or entity its rights or interests under this Agreement, nor may the Participating County delegate any of its duties or responsibilities required by this Agreement, whether by operation of law or otherwise, without the express, prior written consent of the Agencies, the rights and obligations hereunder imposed being personal to the Participating County.
