Assignment or Transfer of Interest. Except as otherwise required herein, Consultant shall may not assign sell, assign, pledge, transfer or transfer Consultant's convey any interest in this Agreement without the prior written consent of City. As a condition of consent, if same is given, Consultant shall remain liable for completion of the services outlined in this Agreement in the event of default by the successor consultant, assignee, transferee or subcontractor. Any references in this Agreement to an assignee, transferee, or subcontractor, indicate only such an entity as has been approved by City in accordance with this Article.
