Assignment to Competitors Sample Clauses
The "Assignment to Competitors" clause restricts a party from transferring its rights or obligations under the agreement to a competitor of the other party. In practice, this means that if one party wishes to assign the contract, it must ensure the assignee is not a direct or indirect competitor, often requiring the other party's consent or a formal review process. This clause serves to protect sensitive business interests and confidential information by preventing competitors from gaining access to contractual rights or proprietary knowledge through assignment.
