Common use of Assignment/Transfer Clause in Contracts

Assignment/Transfer. Employees covered by this Agreement shall in each case be assigned in accordance with the regulations of the State Board of Education. An assignment is defined as a position a teacher currently holds. Grade, subject, school, and activity assignments shall be made by the District based upon the needs of the District and the demonstrated skills, abilities, and professional qualifications of the individual teacher(s) to fulfill those needs.
