Common use of Attornment to Successor Clause in Contracts

Attornment to Successor. In the event Landlord or any successor owner of the Premises shall transfer the Premises, which transfer may be freely effected by Landlord without the consent or approval of Tenant, Landlord or such successor owner, as the case may be, shall thereupon be released from all future liabilities and obligations of Landlord under this Lease and all such future liabilities and obligations shall thereupon automatically be binding upon the new owner, and Tenant will attorn to any new owner as its Landlord, and this Lease shall continue in full force and effect as a direct Lease between Tenant herein and such party upon all terms, conditions, and agreements set forth in this Lease.
