Common use of Authorised Economic Operator System Clause in Contracts

Authorised Economic Operator System. A Party operating an Authorised Economic Operator System or security measures affecting international trade flows shall: (a) afford the other Party the possibility to negotiate mutual recognition of authorisation and security measures for the purpose of facilitating international trade while ensuring effective customs control; and (b) draw on relevant international standards, in particular the WCO Framework of Standards.

A Party operating introducing or expanding an Authorised Economic Operator System or security measures affecting international trade flows shall: (a) afford the other to another Party the possibility to negotiate mutual recognition of authorisation and security measures such a system, for the purpose of facilitating international trade while ensuring effective customs control; control; and (b) draw on relevant international standardsstandards and practices, in particular the WCO Framework of Standardsstandards.
