CONTRACTOR SUPERVISION. Contractor shall provide competent supervision of personnel employed on the job Site, use of equipment, and quality of workmanship.
CONTRACTOR SUPERVISION.
a) At all times during construction, the contractor will have a qualified competent full-time job superintendent acceptable to the contracting officer on the job site. This superintendent will be granted full authority to act for the contractor in areas relating to performance of the contract by the contractor's and subcontractors' forces.
b) In addition to the superintendent, on contracts that exceed $1,500,000; the contractor will have one or more foremen from the contractor’s own work force, as the number of trades working may dictate.
c) If the contractor fails to provide the project management as required by this clause the contracting officer may make a determination of the dollar value of the management and deduct this amount from the contract.
CONTRACTOR SUPERVISION. 40.1 Contractor shall designate and keep continuously on the project, during its progress and until the project is finally accepted, an experienced and competent project manager and superintendent and any necessary assistants, all satisfactory to County. The project manager and superintendent shall not be changed except with the consent of County unless the project manager or superintendent proves to be unsatisfactory to Contractor and ceases to be in Contractor’s employ.
40.2 The superintendent shall represent Contractor project manager in Contractor’s absence and all notices, requests and instructions given to the superintendent shall be considered as having been given to Contractor project manager.
40.3 Contractor shall give efficient supervision to the work, using Contractor’s best skill and attention. Contractor shall carefully study and compare all drawings, specifications and other instructions giving prompt notice to County of any errors, inconsistency, or omission which Contractor should have reasonably discovered.
CONTRACTOR SUPERVISION. The contractor shall provide, at contracto s own expense, competent, full-time supervision of the work at all times while work is in progress. All work shall be performed and completed in a thorough, workmanlike manner by skilled and experienced workers, and in accordance with the latest proven practices of the trade. Compliance with Codes: Contractor shall comply with all County, State and Federal Codes, Laws, in force at the time of award of contract and applicable to such work. Contractor shall obtain, at their own expense, such permits, certificates and licenses as may be required in the performance of the work specified. Storage: Fort Bend County does not assume responsibility for any materials, tools and equipment stored on or about the premises. The contractor upon completion of the work shall clear each area of all items.
CONTRACTOR SUPERVISION. Contractor shall provide competent supervision of personnel who are working at the job Site and/or on the Project. CLEAN UP: Contractor must remove debris from the Site on a weekly basis. The Site shall be in order at all times when work is not actually being performed and shall be maintained in a reasonably clean condition.
CONTRACTOR SUPERVISION. CONTRACTOR shall provide competent supervision of personnel employed on the job, use safe high quality equipment, and consistently deliver quality workmanship.
CONTRACTOR SUPERVISION. CONTRACTOR shall be directly and solely responsible for the Work performed by itself or by its Subcontractors using its best skill and attention for the purpose of ascertaining that all materials and labour used in the Work conform to requirements in order to perform mining operations at the San Francisco Mine.
CONTRACTOR SUPERVISION. The Contractor shall provide competent supervision and staffing of the Work as approved by CITY. As necessary, the Contractor or designated representative shall be present at all times while work is actually in progress. Supervisor(s) must be able to proficiently speak, read and write in English.
CONTRACTOR SUPERVISION. A. The Contractor shall be responsible for all construction means, methods and techniques, sequences and procedures for coordinating all portions of the Project within the Contract Documents. The Contactor shall notify the University of any proposed change in the superintendent/xxxxxxx prior to making such changes. Failure to provide this supervision shall be reason for the University to stop the Work and/or terminate the Contract.
B. Where the Project involves specialty trades such as electrical, plumbing, mechanical and communication work, the Contractor shall have trades people licensed in the District of Columbia to execute such Work. The Contractor shall provide to the University copies of licenses for all trades involved in the Project before commencement of Work. The Contractor shall provide as built drawings, make appropriate directories for changes to electrical panels or new panels, properly label and identify new shut off valves etc.
CONTRACTOR SUPERVISION. Be the primary POC for vendors/contractors. Coordinate, review, and monitor contractors (trash, landscape, pool, repairs, maintenance, etc) on behalf of the board.
