Common use of Authorised Economic Operator Clause in Contracts

Authorised Economic Operator. The Parties shall promote the implementation of the Authorised Economic Operator (hereinafter referred to as "AEO") concept according to the WCO SAFE. A Party shall grant AEO security status and trade facilitation benefits to operators meeting its customs security standards, in accordance with its domestic legislation.

In this respect, trade facilitation benefits shall be provided by the customs authority of an importing Party to operators meeting its customs security standards, in accordance with its domestic legislationstandards and having AEO status granted by the customs authority of any Party.
