Common use of Authorized Access to Protected Health Information Clause in Contracts

Authorized Access to Protected Health Information. To the extent that Business Associate maintains Protected Health Information in a Designated Record Set, at the request of Covered Entity, Business Associate shall provide Covered Entity access to such Protected Health Information in a Designated Record Set in the time and manner reasonably designated by Covered Entity in order for Covered Entity to meet the requirements imposed on Covered Entity by 45 CFR § 164.524.
