Common use of Auto-Renewal Clause in Contracts

Auto-Renewal. Unless otherwise expressly stated in the Quote, the term of any managed Service that is provided to you on an ongoing and recurring basis and which is invoiced monthly (a “Managed Service”) will, unless terminated earlier as per this Agreement, automatically renew for contiguous terms equal to the initial term of the Managed Service unless either party notifies the other of its intention to not renew the Managed Service in writing (email is sufficient for this purpose) no less than thirty (30) days before the end of the then-current Managed Service term. For the purposes of clarity, the term of non-Managed Services (such as one-time projects, break/fix assignments, temporary, non-recurring services, etc.) is not subject to auto-renewal.
