Automatic Lay Off. i) Employees who are employed on the basis of the school year shall be deemed to be laid-off for the school vacation periods. ii) All employees laid off in June shall be given a written notice advising them of the last day of work prior to the school vacation period and of their approximate recall date. If no recall date is identified, then the provisions of Article 16.01 c) (Bumping) will come in to effect.
