Common use of Available Procedure Clause in Contracts

Available Procedure. This will be the only available procedure to bargaining unit employees for the processing and disposition of grievances as defined in Section 2 of this Article except when the employee has a statutory right of choice between this procedure or statutory appeal procedure. In those matters where the statutory choice exists, the employee exercises that choice for the grievance procedure when the grievance is submitted in writing to the designated Management official or for the applicable statutory appeal procedure when submitted in writing to the appropriate official or authority.
