Backbone Capacity and Average Gas Heating Value Sample Clauses

Backbone Capacity and Average Gas Heating Value. PG&E’s firm backbone capacity for the Redwood and Baja paths are shown in Appendix A, Table A-1. Recently, the firm annual receipt capacity available on the Baja path has decreased to 1,073 MMcf/d from 1,140 MMcf/d. This reduction is caused by the combination of reduced off-system flows to Southern California and the reduced capacity of the Kettleman compressor station when it was rebuilt in 2001. Additionally, the average heating value of the gas moving on the backbone system has increased to 1,020 Btu/cubic foot from 1,015 Btu/cubic foot. This changes the delivered firm capacity, which is also shown in Table A-1.
