Backlog Aircraft Clause Samples

The 'Backlog Aircraft' clause defines how aircraft that are on order but not yet delivered—referred to as backlog aircraft—are treated under the agreement. This clause typically outlines the rights and obligations of the parties regarding these undelivered aircraft, such as delivery schedules, payment terms, or the ability to assign or transfer delivery positions. Its core function is to provide clarity and structure around the management and allocation of aircraft that are pending delivery, thereby reducing uncertainty and potential disputes related to future aircraft deliveries.
