Common use of BACKUP POWER Clause in Contracts

BACKUP POWER. Prior to Day One of Delivery, the BWS shall provide supplemental power system at its own expense. The supplemental power system will be used in case of power interruptions not attributable to BWS. It must be capable of delivering 100% of the required volume as indicated in Section 1 of Article VII. BWS shall submit to MCWD a certification from the power provider within twenty-four (24) hours after occurrence of the power interruption.
