We may continue to hold such meeting rooms if you advise us in writing that you will guarantee payment of such meeting rooms to the Master Account. If you have not guaranteed such meeting rooms, you agree that Hotel may offer unused meeting rooms held on your behalf to other customers. Banquet Services. The Company and the Union agree that except as otherwise provided in this paragraph, the Company may subcontract banquet services work and/or utilize third parties and/or utilize casual labor for banquet services. Irrespective of source, banquet employees from a third party or casual labor will be required, on their sixtieth (60th) working day of actual employment within a calendar year to join the Union and become a direct employee of the Company and/or at that time become an employee of a third party recognizing the Union and entering into a collective bargaining agreement with the Union substantially equivalent to that signed by the Union and the Company covering their services for the Company. Employees performing banquet services only, due to the sporadic nature of their work, will have days counted for Union membership and to otherwise complete probationary service, as actual days worked. Further, prior to using third parties for banquet services, the Company will offer other food and beverage bargaining unit employees, who are qualified to perform banquet services and who give the Company notice of their interest in performing such work through whatever means the Company establishes (e.g., a sign up list), the opportunity to perform banquet services work provided the Company is not required to pay overtime and the banquet service work does not interfere with the employees’ regular work schedule.

The LAS VEGAS HILTON agrees to provide copies of proposed menus upon request. It is understood and agreed that prices quoted in such menus do not include taxes and gratuities, which are currently seven percent (7%) tax and seventeen percent (17%) gratuity. If for any reason the function space reserved is not available for your Event, AUDIO VISUAL: Presentation Audio Visual Services (PSAV) is our in house audio visual provider. A hotel representative will assist you with reserving audio visual services or put you in direct contact with a PSAV representative. An audio visual provider other than PSAV will be considered an outside contractor. If you choose to use an outside contractor or bring your own equipment, facility fees will apply.

We will endeavor to notify you in advance of your Event of any increases to the gratuity and/or service charge should different amounts be in effect on the day of your Event.

In order to schedule staff and order products for your events, we require that your final menu selections and room set specifications be received thirty days (30) prior to your major arrival day of Tuesday June 21, 2011. Your catering manager will provide you with Event Orders confirming the financial and operational requirements for your events. You will need to sign a confirmation of the Event Orders and return it to the Hotel no later than Because food and beverage prices fluctuate in accordance with market conditions, menu prices for planned food and beverage functions will be established not earlier than six (6) months prior to your 25th National Conference on Problem Gambling. For your information and guidance, our current menu prices are as follows: Breakfast: from $23.00 to $30.00 Lunch: from $35.00 to $45.00 Dinner: from $55.00 to $65.00 Upon request, copies of proposed menus will be provided.
