Bar Code Symbology and Print Quality. 4.1.7.1 The bar code symbology used shall meet the requirements of STANAG 4329, "NATO Standard Bar Code Symbologies", specifically Code 39 (ISO/IEC 16388), unless otherwise specified. 4.1.7.2 The barcode print quality shall be as defined in ISO/IEC 16388 (Information technology – Automatic identification and data capture techniques – Code 39 bar code symbology specification). The overall grade shall be at least grade B at point of printing and not less than grade C at final point of receipt.
