BASE RATE GUARANTEED. In all cases the employees' earnings are at least the number of hours worked times the base rate of the job. For example, if the standard is 10 standard hours per 1000 pieces and the employee turns out 700 pieces in an 8 hour shift, he/she has earned only 7 standard hours.
