BENEFICIARY CHANGE. You have the right to name a Beneficiary on the application. You may name a Beneficiary who cannot be changed without his/her consent. This is an irrevocable Beneficiary. You may add a Beneficiary or change the Beneficiary by written request during your lifetime, if: 1. The contract is in force; and 2. We have the written consent of each irrevocable Beneficiary. If there is more than one Beneficiary, we pay them in equal shares unless you have requested otherwise in writing. Any addition or change of Beneficiary should be sent to our Home Office in Seattle, Washington. The addition or change will take effect on the date you signed the request. But, it will not affect any payment or action we make before we receive and record that request.
