Benefits for More Than One Absence. (1) If an employee returns to work after receiving Sickness and Accident Benefits for less than 52 weeks, or 51 weeks for claims beginning on or after January 1, 2017, and is again absent within three months for the same reason or some disability related to it, there is no waiting period for the rest of the 52 weeks' period, or 51 weeks’ period for claims beginning on or after January 1, 2017, if the employee is disabled that long.
