Common use of Bid Document Deposit Clause in Contracts

Bid Document Deposit. The Architect shall distribute sets of Bid Documents to bidders upon receipt of a deposit for each set. The amount of the deposit shall be determined by the Owner with the Architect’s assistance, but, as prescribed by Title 39, Code of Alabama, 1975 as amended, the deposit shall not exceed twice the cost of printing, reproduction, handling, and distribution of each set.
