BID PRICES. 13.1 Unless stated otherwise in the Bidding Documents, the Contract shall be for the whole works as described in Bidding Document, based on the unit rates and prices submitted by the Bidder and accepted by the EMPLOYER. 13.2 Prices must be filled in format for 'Schedule of Rates' enclosed as part Bidding Document. Items against which no rate or price is entered by the bidder will not be paid for by the Employer when executed and shall be deemed covered by the rates for other items and prices in the SOR. 13.4 All duties and taxes including excluding Service tax payable by the Contractor under the Contract, or for any other cause, shall. Be included in the rates and prices and the total bid price submitted by the bidder. 13.5 Prices quoted by the bidder, shall remain firm and fixed and valid until completion of the Contract and will not be subject to variation on any account. 13.6 The Bidder shall quote the prices both in figures as well as in words. There should not be any discrepancies between the price indicated in figures and the price indicated in words. 13.7 Alternative bids shall not be considered. 13.8 Bidders are advised NOT to mention Rebate/Discount separately, either in the SOR format or anywhere else in the offer. In case bidder(s) intend to offer any Rebate/Discount, they should include the same in the item rate(s) itself under the "Schedule of Rates (SOR)" and indicate the discounted unit rate(s) only. In case, it is observed that any of the bidder( s) has/have mentioned Discount/Rebate separately, the same shall not be considered for evaluation. However, in the event of the bidder emerging as the lowest bidder, the Discount/Rebate offered by the bidder shall be considered for Award of Work and the same will be conclusive and binding on the bidder.

Bids not accompanied by such schedule shall be inclusive of cost incurred considered as conditions /deviations withdrawn. Bidder shall further note that except for such activity. In case any activity though specifically not covered in description of item under 'Schedule of Rates' but The bidder is required to complete quote his rates taking into account all the works as per Scope of Work, Scope of supply, Specifications, Standards, Drawings, General Terms & Conditions of Contractthe Bid. 12.2 The bidder shall quote his rates inclusive of all taxes, Special Condition of Contract or any other part of Bidding Documentduties, the prices quoted shall deemed royalties, statutory minimum payments/contributions to be inclusive paid to and/or on behalf of cost incurred for such activity. Items against which no rate or price is entered by the bidder will not be paid for by the Employer when executed and shall be deemed covered by the rates for other items and prices in the SOR. 13.4 All duties and taxes including excluding Service tax payable by the Contractor under the Contract, or for any other cause, shall. Be included in the rates and prices and the total bid price submitted by the bidder. 13.5 Prices quoted manpower supplied by the bidder, shall remain firm overheads, insurance, cost incurred for obtaining various licenses as per statutory requirements etc. Applicable service tax @ 12.36% has been considered separately in the Estimated Cost put for tendering in the BOQ. Quoted price will be deemed to include all incidental charges, supervision, transport, contractor‟s profit and fixed establishment/overheads, all risks & insurance liabilities, compliance of labour laws and valid until completion other obligations set out or implied in the contract, complete as required. 12.3 The duty hours of the manpower deployed by the contractor shall be a maximum of 8 hours per day. However, in the event of the bidder emerging as the lowest bidder, the Discount/Rebate offered by the successful bidder shall be considered required to procure necessary insurance policies as stipulated in Clause No.5.6 i) & ii) of Special Conditions of contract. 12.6 Contractor shall be required to pay to its employees, roped in for Award services under the contract, based on category of Work minimum wages given by JMRC and deposit / disburse other statutory dues to the same will be conclusive and binding on applicable authority/ organization OR as per the bidderdirection of JMRC.
