Common use of BID PRICES Clause in Contracts

BID PRICES. 14.1 Unless explicitly stated otherwise in the bidding documents, the contract shall be for the whole works as described in Sub-Clause 1.1, based on the basic unit rates and prices in the Bill of Quantities submitted by the bidder. 14.2 The bidder shall fill in rates and prices for all items of Works described in the Bills of Quantities. 14.3 All duties, taxes and other levies payable by the Contractor, or for any other cause as of the date 28 days prior to the deadline for submission of tenders, shall be included in the rates and prices and the total tender prices submitted by the tenderer. 14.4 Unless otherwise provided in the Bidding Data and Conditions of Particular Application the rates and prices quoted by the bidder are subject to adjustment during the performance of the contract in accordance with the provisions of Clause 70 of the Conditions of Contract.
