Common use of Bidding and Bumping Rights Clause in Contracts

Bidding and Bumping Rights. The new unit structure and number of positions/FTE’s will be posted. Bidding on new positions/FTE’s shall be done by seniority starting with the most senior nurse and moving down the seniority roster. It is the intent of this process to allow Displaced Nurses, by seniority, to maintain, but not increase, their FTE, except as provided herein. Accordingly, Displaced Nurses shall have the following rights to bump into positions of less-senior nurses in accordance with Appendix C ( “Clinical Care Groups”) and as follows:
