Common use of Bidding Clause in Contracts

Bidding. Following the Department’s approval of the design development documents, the Design-Builder shall manage the trade bidding process in accordance with the approved bidding procedures and shall use commercially reasonable best efforts to solicit at least three (3) qualified and bona fide bids for each trade package that has an expected value in excess of One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00). Trade packages shall not be parceled, split or divided to avoid the $100,000.00 threshold.
