Common use of Bills and Liens Clause in Contracts

Bills and Liens. 4.2.1 A-E shall pay promptly all indebtedness for labor, materials and equipment used in performance of the work. A-E shall not permit any lien or charge to attach to the work or the premises, but if any does so attach, A-E shall promptly procure its release and, in accordance with the requirements of the indemnification paragraph above, indemnify, defend, and hold County of Orange, Orange County Flood Control District, and County Indemnitees harmless and be responsible for payment of all costs, damages, penalties and expenses arising from or related thereto.
