BL-1040. BL-1040 myocardial implant is a non-pharmacologic, non-surgical, cross-linked alginate solution administered via intracoronary (IC) injection to infarcted tissue. BL-1040 completely disintegrates into its constituent polymers within approximately 90 days after deposition, and is excreted in the urine.
