Common use of BOARD AND ADMINISTRATION RIGHTS Clause in Contracts

BOARD AND ADMINISTRATION RIGHTS. There is reserved exclusively to the Board all responsibilities, powers, rights, and authority vested in it by the laws and Constitution of Michigan and the United States or which have been heretofore properly exercised by it, excepting where expressly, and in specific terms, limited by the provisions of this Agreement. It is further recognized that the Board, in meeting such responsibilities and in exercising its powers and rights, acts through its administrative staff. It is agreed that the Board retains the responsibilities, among others, for establishing and equitably enforcing reasonable rules and personnel policies.
