BOARD AND ADMINISTRATION RIGHTS. It is recognized that Michigan law makes the Board legally responsible for the operation of the Greenville School System in all respects. In meeting such responsibilities, the Board acts through its administrative staff. Such responsibilities include the establishment of educational policy, the construction or acquisition and the maintenance of school buildings and equipment, the hiring, transfer, assignment, supervision, promotion and termination of staff members, and after consultation with the Association, the establishment and revision of rules pertaining to the conduct of staff members. The Board shall have the right to establish the length of the duty day to allow the district to meet State mandated time of instruction.
