Common use of Board Requested Certification Clause in Contracts

Board Requested Certification. The District agrees to reimburse tuition costs incurred by teachers who are requested to obtain additional certification by the BOE. WEA and Wabaunsee agree to appoint representatives to meet no more than five (5) times during the coming school year for ongoing discussion of district concerns including, but not limited to, supplemental salaries. Membership shall be composed of no more than two board members and one representative from K-4, one 5-8, and two 9-12 teachers. Meetings shall last no more than two (2) hours unless otherwise agreed upon. Meeting dates shall be agreed upon when needed. Compensation shall be at the rate of $19 per hour.
