No syndication or sale of this material may be made without the express release of the creator and the Board. Such restrictions shall be limited to materials produced on school time or during Board subsidized courses.

The Board hereby recognizes the Association as the exclusive bargaining representative, as defined in Section II of Act 379, Public Acts of 1965, for all certified professional personnel, including personnel on tenure and probation, classroom teachers, guidance counselors, social workers, psychologists, speech and language pathologist, and librarian; employed or to be employed by the Board on a contract basis (whether or not assigned to a public school building), and certified professional personnel employed as long-term substitutes, but excluding supervisory and executive personnel and office and clerical employees.
1. The term "teacher", when used hereinafter in this Agreement, shall refer to all employees represented by the Association in the bargaining unit as above defined, and references to male teachers shall include female teachers.
