Bonding Requirements. The Contractor is required to furnish a performance bond on the form in a form acceptable to the City, in a sum of not less than [insert bonding level] of the annual amount of the contract to guarantee the faithful performance of this contract. The bond must be approved as to sufficiency and qualifications of the surety by the Controller.
Bonding Requirements. (Applicable to construction and facility improvement contracts exceeding $100,000) The Contractor shall comply with New York state bonding requirements, unless they have not been approved by HUD, in which case the Contractor shall comply with the following minimum bonding requirements:
(1) A bid guarantee from each bidder equivalent to five percent of the bid price. The “bid guarantee” shall consist of a firm commitment such as a bid bond, certified check, or other negotiable instrument accompanying a bid as assurance that the bidder will, upon acceptance of his bid, execute such contractual documents as may be required within the time specified.
(2) A performance bond on the part of the Contractor for 100 percent of the contract price. A “performance bond” is one executed in connection with a contract to secure fulfillment of all the Contractor’s obligations under such contract.
(3) A payment bond on the part of the Contractor for 100 percent of the contract price. A “payment bond” is one executed in connection with a contract to assure payment as required by law of all persons supplying labor and material in the execution of the work provided for in the contract.
Bonding Requirements. The Contractor shall provide the following bonds:
A. A "Payment Bond" (material and labor bond) from a California admitted surety and in the form attached hereto, shall be provided by Contractor for the Project within five (5) working days after the District has issued a Notice to Proceed for the Project. The Payment Bond shall be for One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Final GMP of the Project, to satisfy claims of materials suppliers and of mechanics and laborers employed on the Project. The Payment Bond shall be maintained by the Contractor in full force and effect for the Project until the Project is fully completed and accepted and until all claims for materials and labor are paid, and shall otherwise comply with California law. The Payment Bond, once obtained, shall be attached to this Construction Services Agreement as Exhibit “C.” In the event the Final GMP is increased in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 9 above, the Contractor must increase the Payment Bond to equal the revised GMP. The Payment Bond must be executed by an admitted Surety approved to conduct business in the State of California, pursuant to California Code of Civil Procedure section 995.120 and is theorized by the State of California.
B. A "Faithful Performance Bond" from a California admitted surety and in the form attached hereto shall be provided by Contractor for the Project within five (5) working days after the District has issued a Notice to Proceed on the Project. The Faithful Performance Bond shall be for One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Final GMP for the Project to guarantee faithful performance of all work, within the time prescribed, in a manner satisfactory to the District, and that all materials and workmanship shall be free from original or developed defects. The Faithful Performance Bond shall be in the form attached hereto and shall be maintained by the Contractor in full force and effect until the Project is fully completed and accepted and until all claims for materials and labor are paid, and shall otherwise comply with California law. The Faithful Performance Bond shall name the District as the entity to which the Principal and Surety, as defined in the Faithful Performance Bond, are bound. The Faithful Performance Bond shall be attached to this Construction Services Agreement as Exhibit "D." Bonding Requirements. Requirement to make procurement documentation available for review by the City, CalOES and the Federal awarding agency. In addition, Subrecipient must include in all of its contracts paid or reimbursed in whole or in part with Subaward funds the provisions set forth in Appendix II to 2 CFR Part 200 (Contract Provisions for non- Federal Entity Contracts under Federal Awards) as required by 2 CFR §200.326.
Bonding Requirements. The City requires the following bonds; combination documents, cash deposits, or assigned savings accounts are acceptable alternatives:
1. Bid Bond: 5%, if the work is subject to bid procedures;
2. Contract bond in the form made a part of this agreement. In lieu thereof for projects of $35,000 or less, at the contractor’s option, retainage of 50% will be held until releasable under RCW 39.08.010.
Bonding Requirements. (A) For construction or facility improvement where the contract is for less than $100,000, the Grantee may follow its established procedures. In the event Grantee has no established procedures in place, the requirements of subparagraph (B) hereof shall be met.
(B) For contracts or subcontracts exceeding $100,000, the provisions of the Agency Proce- dures, Chapter 11 on bonding requirements shall be followed. If bonds are required, they shall be in such form and amount as provided in the Agency Procedures, Chapter 11.
Bonding Requirements. To the extent this is a contract for construction or facility improvement, Contractor agrees as follows:
A. Contractor provided with its bid for this contract a bid guarantee of no less than 5% of the bid price, or greater if otherwise required in this contract or the San Francisco Administrative Code.
B. Contractor has obtained a performance bond in favor of the City, securing fulfillment of all its obligations under the contract, in an amount no less than 100% of the contract price.
C. Contractor has obtained a payment bond, assuring payment as required by law to all persons supplying labor and material in the execution of the work provided for in the contract, in an amount no less than 100% of the contract price.
Bonding Requirements. Applicability – For those construction or facility improvement contracts or subcontracts exceeding $250,000, FTA may accept the bonding policy and requirements of the recipient, provided they meet the minimum requirements for construction contracts as follows:
Bonding Requirements. Entities backed by a taxing authority are exempt from the following bonding requirements. Examples of entities that are backed by a taxing authority include, but are not limited to public colleges, public universities, independent school districts, and consolidated school districts.
6.1 The funds provided by this grant award shall be included in coverage provided by a fidelity bond that indemnifies TWC against loss arising from a fraudulent or dishonest act of the Grantee's officers and employees holding positions of fiduciary trust.
6.2 The Grantee shall obtain a bond sufficient to cover the largest cumulative amount of all cash requests submitted by a grantee on any given day or the cumulative amount of funds on hand at any given point. This determination shall be made by aggregating the cumulative amounts drawn from TWC by the Grantee during any consecutive three-day period. Under no circumstances shall TWC disburse to the Grantee an amount of cash that exceeds the bond amount.
6.3 The bond shall be executed by a corporate surety or sureties holding Certificates of authority, authorized to do business in the State of Texas, and acceptable to TWC. If a surety upon a bond loses its authority to do business in the State of Texas, or the bond is cancelled, reduced, or otherwise amended, the Grantee shall immediately notify TWC and provide a replacement bond adequate to cover the terms and conditions of this section. Until such time that, an adequate replacement bond is secured by the insurer and provided to TWC, no further disbursements shall be made to the Grantee.

6.5 The failure of the Grantee to provide evidence of the required bond within fifteen (15) calendar days of the beginning date of this grant award may result in termination of the grant award.
6.6 The Grantee will include the substance of the provisions of this section in any subcontracts for goods or services under this grant award.
