Public Works Bond. Pursuant to ORS 279C.830(2), in addition to the Payment and Performance bonds, before starting work on this Contract or any subcontract hereunder, Contractor and all subcontractors, unless exempt under ORS 279C.836(4), (7), (8), or (9), must have on file with the Construction Contractors Board a public works bond with a corporate surety authorized to do business in the State of Oregon in the minimum amount of $30,000. The bond must provide that the Contractor or subcontractor will pay claims ordered by the Bureau of Labor and Industries to workers performing labor upon public works projects. The bond must be a continuing obligation, and the surety’s liability for the aggregate of claims that may be payable from the bond may not exceed the penal sum of the bond. The bond must remain in effect continuously until depleted by claims paid under ORS 279C.836, unless the surety sooner cancels the bond. Contractor further certifies that Contractor will include in every subcontract a provision requiring a subcontractor to have a public works bond filed with the Construction Contractors Board before starting work on the Project, unless exempt under ORS 279C.836(4), (7), (8), or (9).
Public Works Bond. Before starting work, the contractor and sub-contractors shall each file with the Construction Contractors Board and maintain in full force and effect, a separate public works bond, in the amount of Thirty Thousand Dollars ($30,000) unless otherwise exempt, under ORS 279C.836(7) or (8). The contractor shall verify sub-contractors have filed a public works bond before the sub-contractor begins work.
Public Works Bond. Before starting the Work, Contractor and every Subcontractor shall file with the Construction Contractors Board a public works bond in accordance with ORS 279C.836, unless the Contractor or Subcontractor has elected not to file a public works bond under ORS 279C.836(7) or (8) or is exempt under ORS 279C.836(4) or (9). Before permitting a Subcontractor to start the Work, Contractor shall verify that the Subcontractor has filed a public works bond as required by ORS 279C.836, has elected not to file a public works bond under ORS 279C.836(7) or (8) or is exempt under ORS 279C.836(4) or (9). Contractor shall also ensure that each subcontract entered into by a Subcontractor for the Project shall include a clause obligating each Subcontractor to comply with the requirements of this Section 3.2, such that all subcontracts at all tiers include a requirement to comply with this Section 3.2.
Public Works Bond. 1.15.1 Before starting work, the contractor and sub-contractors shall each file with the Oregon Construction Contractors Board (CCB) and maintain in full force and effect, a separate public works bond, in the amount of Thirty Thousand Dollars ($30,000) unless otherwise exempt, as required by Oregon Laws 2005, Chapter 360 and OAR 839-025-0015. The contractor shall verify subcontractors have filed a public works bond before the subcontractor begins work.
Public Works Bond. Before permitting a subcontract to start work on the Project, Contractor shall verify that the Subcontractor has filed a Public Works Bond in accordance with ORS 279C.836.
Public Works Bond. If the Contract Price exceeds $100,000, before starting work on the contract, Contractor shall file with the Construction Contractors Board a public works bond with a corporate surety authorized to do business in this state in the amount of $30,000. The bond shall provide that the Contractor will pay claims ordered by the Bureau of Labor and Industries to workers performing labor upon public works projects. The bond must be a continuing obligation, and the surety’s liability for the aggregate of claims that may be payable from the bond may not exceed the penal sum of the bond. The bond must remain in effect continuously until depleted by claims paid under this section, unless the surety sooner cancels the bond. The surety may cancel the bond by giving 30 days’ written notice to the Contractor or subcontractor, and to the Bureau of Labor and Industries. When the bond is canceled, the surety is relieved of further liability for work performed on contracts entered into after the cancellation. The cancellation does not limit the surety’s liability for work performed on contracts entered into before the cancellation.
Public Works Bond. The Successful Contractor shall file with the FHSU Purchasing Office a Public Works Bond as required by K.S.A. 60-1111, as amended, in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of contract price and shall be filed with the Clerk of the District Court in the County where the project is being constructed. The bond funding will be released upon the completion of this contract subject to total or partial forfeiture for failure to perform adequately the terms of this contract. If damages exceed the amount of the guaranty, FHSU may seek additional damages. A Public Works Bond is not required for projects with a contract price below $100,000.00. Necessary bond forms will be furnished by the FHSU Purchasing Office. The forms can be completed by any General Insurance Agent. Bonds shall be issued by a Surety Company licensed to do business in the State of Kansas

If the Work is subject to Prevailing Wage, as set forth in subsection (C), before starting Work, Contractor and every subcontractor must file with the Construction Contractors Board a public works bond in accordance with ORS 279C.836, unless the Contractor or subcontractor is exempt under ORS 279.836. Before permitting a subcontractor to start Work on a public works project, Contractor must verify that the subcontractor has filed a public works bond as required by ORS 279.836 or is exempt. Contractor shall also include in each subcontract entered into by the Contractor a clause obligating each subcontractor at all tiers to comply with the requirements of this paragraph.
Public Works Bond. The Independent Contractor shall have a public works bond filed with the Construction Contractor’s Board before starting work on the project unless exempt under ORS 279C.836(4), (7), (8) or (9). (ORS 279C.836(1); OAR 839-025- 0020(2)(e)). NOTE: Exemption (8) provides an election to Independent Contractor to not file a Public Works Bond for any project for which the contract price does not exceed $100,000.
