Borrowing Sick Leave. Teachers may borrow up to four days from their next year’s sick leave. If the teacher leaves the district before repaying the sick leave, the appropriate number of days’ salary will be deducted from their last paycheck. If a teacher resigns after their last paycheck, the teacher will reimburse the district at their ending daily salary plus any collection fees.
