Common use of Branch of Account Clause in Contracts

Branch of Account. 18.01 For the purposes of the Bank Act, the branch of the Bank set out in a Covered Bond or the related Final Terms shall be the branch of account (the “Branch of Account”) for the deposits evidenced by such Covered Bond. 18.02 Each Covered Bond will be paid without the necessity of first being presented for payment at the Branch of Account. 18.03 If the Branch of Account is not in Canada, the Bank may change the Branch of Account for the deposits evidenced by any Covered Bond, upon not less than seven days’ prior notice to its Holder given in accordance with Condition 14 and upon and subject to the following terms and conditions:
