Broken Glass Hazards. The main risk with handling lamps is of getting cut with broken glass. As with the mercury hazard, preventing breakage is the most important way to avoid this. Should a lamp get broken, follow the procedure in Section 4: Clean-Up Procedure for Broken Lamps.
