Common use of Business Automobile Liability Clause in Contracts

Business Automobile Liability. Minimum Limits of Insurance $1,000,000 Combined Single Limit per accident for bodily injury and property damage or the limit customarily carried by Contractor, whichever is greater. No aggregate limit may apply. Coverage may be combined with Excess/Umbrella Liability coverage to meet the required limit. Coverage Form Coverage shall be at least as broad as the unmodified Insurance Services Office (ISO) Business Automobile Coverage form CA 00 01 10/13, CA 00 25 10/13, CA 00 20 10/13 or substitute form providing equivalent coverage. Such insurance shall cover liability arising out of any auto (including owned, hired, and non- owned autos). Pollution liability coverage at least as broad as that provided under the ISO pollution liability—broadened coverage for covered autos endorsement (CA 99 48) shall be provided, and the Motor Carrier Act endorsement (MCS 90) shall be attached for all contracts involving transportation of “hazardous material” as this term is defined by applicable law, including, but not limited to, waste, asbestos, fungi, bacteria and mold.
