BUSINESS TAX REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE. City’s Office of Finance requires the implementation and enforcement of Los Angeles Municipal Code Section 21.09 et seq. This section provides that every person, other than a municipal employee, who engages in any business within City, is required to obtain the necessary Business Tax Registration Certificate and pay business taxes.
