Sole Source. A Subcontractor specified by name in Construction Documents as the exclusive source from which conforming goods or services may be obtained. Designation of goods or services by reference to a named source accompanied by the qualification “or equal” or similar language is not a designation of a Sole Source as that term is defined herein.

Sole Source. If the project requires a non-competitive purchase from a sole source, the recipient must complete the Sole Source Justification for Services and Equipment Form and submit to OCJG upon application for pre- approval. If the recipient is a state agency and the cost meets or exceeds $250,000, the recipient must also receive approval from the Florida Department of Management Services (DMS) (See § 287.057(5), Fla. Sole Source. Notwithstanding the requirements of Section 4.01(c) above, the City may, in its sole and absolute discretion, authorize Funding Recipient to procure Equipment and/or the necessary related services on a sole source basis from a vendor identified by Funding Recipient who otherwise constitutes an Eligible Vendor, if only such vendor is capable of supplying the requisite Equipment or services and the Equipment to be provided thereby constitutes Eligible Equipment. In such instances, Funding Recipient shall provide the City with such information regarding the selection of the vendor in question as the City shall require.

(3) Use the clause at 252.219-7011, Notification to Delay Performance, in solicitations and purchase orders issued under the PA cited in 219.800.
