Sole Source. A Subcontractor specified by name in Construction Documents as the exclusive source from which conforming goods or services may be obtained. Designation of goods or services by reference to a named source accompanied by the qualification “or equal” or similar language is not a designation of a Sole Source as that term is defined herein.
Sole Source. If the project requires a non-competitive purchase from a sole source, the recipient must complete the Sole Source Justification for Services and Equipment Form and submit to OCJG upon application for pre- approval. If the recipient is a state agency and the cost meets or exceeds $250,000, the recipient must also receive approval from the Florida Department of Management Services (DMS) (See § 287.057(5), Fla. Sole Source. In some cases, a proposed small purchase is only available from a single vendor, and as such, only one bid/estimate can be uploaded. Sole Source. Notwithstanding the requirements of Section 4.01(c) above, the City may, in its sole and absolute discretion, authorize Funding Recipient to procure Equipment and/or the necessary related services on a sole source basis from a vendor identified by Funding Recipient who otherwise constitutes an Eligible Vendor, if only such vendor is capable of supplying the requisite Equipment or services and the Equipment to be provided thereby constitutes Eligible Equipment. In such instances, Funding Recipient shall provide the City with such information regarding the selection of the vendor in question as the City shall require.
Sole Source. In the event that the services being sought can only be obtained from a single source, then the district shall make a formal written finding stating the factual basis for the exception and the solicitation requirements of this section do not apply. As used in this subsection, "sole source" has the same meaning as provided in *RCW 39.29.006.
Sole Source. AVID Center affirms that it is the sole source of the AVID College Readiness System to which competition may be precluded due to the existence of a patent, copyright, secret process, or monopoly. AVID Center's sole source development includes intellectual property - copyrights and trademarks - in the AVID Materials, licensing for reproduction of student activity sheets associated with the curriculum, technical assistance, training to teachers and administrators, and coordination of the AVID College Readiness System through consultation, data collection, and certification processes.
Sole Source. For sole source requirements processed under the PA, follow the procedures at PGI 219.808-1. When preparing awards under the PA, follow the procedures at PGI 219.811.
(1) Use the clause at 252.219-7009, Section 8(a) Direct Award, instead of the clauses at FAR 52.219-11, Special 8(a) Contract Conditions, FAR 52.219-12, Special 8(a) Subcontract Conditions, and FAR 52.219-17, Section 8(a) Award, in solicitations and contracts processed in accordance with the PA cited in 219.800.
(2) Use the clause at FAR 52.219-18, Notification of Competition Limited to Eligible 8(a) Concerns, with 252.219-7010, Alternate A, in solicitations and contracts processed in accordance with the PA cited in 219.800.
(3) Use the clause at 252.219-7011, Notification to Delay Performance, in solicitations and purchase orders issued under the PA cited in 219.800.
Sole Source. The Union shall be the sole and exclusive source of referral of applicants for employment.
Sole Source. Commodity: When an item is available from only one source due to the unique nature of the requirement, its supplier, or market conditions.
Sole Source. No Appropriation of Funds. Developer acknowledges that no appropriation of City funds has been or will be made to provide payments due under this Agreement. Further, Developer acknowledges that the only source of funds for payment under this Agreement is from Assessments on lots within the District, including bonds secured by those Assessments.
