Busy Line Verification/Emergency. Interrupt (BLV/EI) Trunks. When ILEC wishes AT&T to perform Busy Line Verification or Emergency Interrupt for ILEC end users, AT&T will need a segregated one-way BLV trunk group with MF signaling from AT&T’s Operator Services switch to ILEC’s switch serving end users in that LATA. ILEC will have administrative control for the purpose of issuing a request to the AT&T Account Manager on this one-way trunk group. The BLV trunk group will be designated with the appropriate traffic use code and modifier.
