Buy American Provision. 2.2.1. The Caterer will purchase, to the maximum extent practicable, domestic agricultural commodities or products for Program meals and snacks in accordance with 7 CFR 210.21(d) and 7 CFR 220.16(d). 2.2.2. A “domestic commodity or product” is defined as one that is either produced in the U.S. and its territories or is processed in the U.S. and its territories substantially using agricultural commodities that are produced in the U.S. and its territories. “Substantially” means the final processed product contains over 51% domestically grown agricultural commodities.
