Common use of Buyer's Right to Employ Clause in Contracts

Buyer's Right to Employ. Seller consents to Buyer discussing with any of Seller's employees, at any time within the thirty (30) day period prior to Closing, the possibility of their employment by Buyer after the Closing and to Buyer hiring any of those employees after the Closing. Seller agrees and acknowledges, however, that Buyer is under no obligation to offer employment to any of those employees. Current employees of Seller which are hired by Buyer, if any, shall not be considered to be in the employ of Buyer until such time as they have been formally hired by Buyer and satisfy the active work requirement of completing one full hour of active service for Buyer.
