Common use of Calculation of Days Clause in Contracts

Calculation of Days. The provisions of this Agreement relative to number of days shall be deemed to refer to calendar days, unless otherwise specified. If the date of performance or the last day for performance of an obligation under this Agreement occurs on a calendar day which is a Saturday, Sunday, or a day which is, in the city and state in which Escrow Agent or the Property is located, either a legal holiday or a day on which banking institutions are authorized by law to remain closed for the entire day, then performance of such obligation shall be extended to the next calendar day which is not one of such days.
