Calculation of Throughput and Empty Handling Charges. i. Following expiration of Carrier’s initial Commitment Discount Level, the throughput and empty handling charges payable by the Carrier for each half-year period shall be calculated by reducing the Base Rate then in effect under this Agreement by the discount for Carrier’s Commitment Discount Level then in effect.
