Calendar Advisory Committee Clause Samples
The Calendar Advisory Committee clause establishes a designated group responsible for overseeing and making recommendations regarding the scheduling and structure of an organization's calendar, such as academic terms or key events. This committee typically reviews proposed changes, gathers input from stakeholders, and advises decision-makers on optimal calendar arrangements. Its core function is to ensure that calendar decisions are made thoughtfully and inclusively, helping to balance institutional needs with those of the community and to prevent scheduling conflicts or oversight.
Calendar Advisory Committee. A Calendar Advisory Committee comprised of up to five representatives of GTA, the District administration, and other bargaining units in the District shall be established to make recommendations for school calendars. GTA and the District shall negotiate as to the calendars for the subsequent school year(s). The resulting calendar(s) shall be attached as Appendix H.
Calendar Advisory Committee. A Calendar Advisory Committee comprised of three (3) site administrators, three (3) Association members (one from each division TK-3, 4-6, and 7-8), the Director of Human Resources, and the EUTA and EUCO (Eureka Union Classified Organization)Presidents/designee will have input into the development of the calendar. The Director of Human Resources and the Association Presidents shall convene the committee by October 15. The time line of this calendar committee will be as follows:
1. By December15 Provide calendar elements in written form to the Calendar Advisory Committee members to be shared with all unit members for the purpose of gathering feedback and develop draft recommendations for the calendar.
2. By January Board Meeting The Director of Human Resources and the Association Presidents would present the draft recommendations to the Board of Trustees for the purpose of gathering feedback and making necessary revisions.
Calendar Advisory Committee. The members of the Calendar Advisory Committee shall include: • 3 faculty appointed by WVMFT, AFT 6554 (at least one from each campus) • 2 classified appointed by WVMCEA (at least one from each campus) • 2 administrators appointed by the Chancellor The purpose of the Committee is to (1) serve in an advisory capacity to the bargaining units and the District regarding calendar related dates and the effects on staffing and operations and (2) make recommendations for every academic year as far in advance as is possible.
