Call Back Pay – Custodial/Maintenance Sample Clauses

The 'Call Back Pay – Custodial/Maintenance' clause defines the compensation provided to custodial or maintenance employees who are required to return to work outside of their regular scheduled hours. Typically, this clause ensures that employees called back for unscheduled work, such as emergency repairs or urgent cleaning, receive a minimum guaranteed amount of pay or a premium rate for the hours worked. Its core function is to fairly compensate employees for the inconvenience and additional effort of returning to work unexpectedly, while also incentivizing prompt response to urgent facility needs.
