Callback and Standby Sample Clauses
Callback and Standby. An Employee who is called to work either before or after his normal tour of duty shall receive a minimum of three (3) hours pay at their regular rate if the following criteria are satisfied:
Callback and Standby. 18.01 All employees who are called back, and required to work outside their regular working hours, shall be paid at one and one-half (1 ½) times their regular straight time hourly rate, with a minimum allowance of six (6) hours pay at their regular straight time hourly rate. However, this guarantee will not apply if such work occurred immediately prior to, or succeeding, the employee’s regular shift. If an employee is subsequently called back to work after having left the premises of the Hospital within the minimum guaranteed period stated herein, then an additional guaranteed period will not be paid.
18.02 An employee who is required to remain available for duty on standby, outside the normal working hours for that particular employee, shall receive standby pay in the amount of three dollars ($3.20) per hour for all hours on standby. Standby pay shall, however, cease where an employee is called into work under Article 18.01 above and works during the period of standby.
18.03 Two (2) hour pay for calls resolved from home.
