Campaign for election. Purpose To enable the employee to campaign for election. Eligibility An employee who is standing for election to the ACT Legislative Assembly, Commonwealth or State House of Parliament, or other approved legislative or advisory body approved by the Commissioner. Entitlement A maximum period of three months. Conditions - Rate of payment Without pay. Effect on other entitlements Will not count for any purpose. Leave to: Cope with a disaster Purpose Where an employee is affected by a disaster which has destroyed or significantly damaged the employee’s usual place of residence or its contents.
