Common use of Canadian Companies Clause in Contracts

Canadian Companies. In the event Contractor is a corporation organized under the laws of any province of Canada or is a Canadian federal corporation, the City may enforce in the United States of America or in Canada or in both countries a judgment entered against the Contractor. The Contractor waives any and all defenses to the City’s enforcement in Canada, of a judgment entered by a court in the United States of America. All monetary amounts set forth in this Contract are in United States dollars.
