Common use of Cancellation of the Option Clause in Contracts

Cancellation of the Option. The Option will terminate, and cease to be exercisable, on the earliest of the following: a. The date immediately preceding the seventh anniversary of the Grant Date; or b. In the event of the Participant's termination of employment with the Company, such earlier date as determined in accordance with the rules set forth in Paragraph 3.

The date immediately preceding the tenth anniversary of the Grant Date, for Options with Grant Dates prior to 2004; the date immediately preceding the fifth anniversary of the Grant Date, for Options with Grant Dates after 2003 and prior to 2007; or the date immediately preceding the seventh anniversary of the Grant Date; or, for Options with Gxxxx Dates after 2006; b. In the event of the Participant's ’s termination of employment with the Companyemployment, such earlier date as determined in accordance with the rules set forth in Paragraph 32.
